The cover of the latest issue of InTouch Magazine goes where no other weekly has gone before and literally outs Olympian turned reality star Bruce Jenner as a transgender woman with the help of a photoshopped photo of him in women’s clothes and a full face of makeup.

The woman on whose body Bruce’s face was superimposed, actress Stephanie Beacham, is very amused by the silliness of the cover, but admits that he wears that outfit much better than she ever did.

Stephanie Beacham laughs it off

Few people actually fell for the “My Life as a Woman” headline on the magazine cover and even those who did must have realized on a second glance that the photo used was a fake. If Bruce is really transitioning to female, as rumors claim he has been for the past couple of years or so, chances are he will never come out like this – or at all.

InTouch actually used an already existing photo, and added Bruce’s face on the body. From Stephanie Beacham’s interview with Inside Edition (video below), they didn’t even bother to contact her to ask for her permission, or else she wouldn’t be this amused by the sheer stupidity on their part.

Still, she says, Bruce does that dated outfit justice.

“I speak no lie. Bruce Jenner looks far lovelier than I do there,” she laughs. “I think it’s terribly funny. Things happen. How could I be cross? It’s the silliest thing that’s happened… this week.”

If Bruce is transitioning and is considering coming out soon, she’d also suggest to him to go for something classic and elegant, because you can never lose with such an outfit.

The controversy still rages on

Bruce Jenner’s alleged transition makes him a tabloid fodder more than his association with the Kardashian – Jenner clan ever could. Even more established celebrity publications, like People magazine, occasionally speculate on when he might come out as a transgender woman, citing unnamed sources as saying that it would happen “any day now.”

This InTouch cover has taken this guessing game up a notch, by trying to force him to make a stand by printing such an obviously fake photo. The magazine is now being accused of transphobia and is duly condemned by the media.

Kris Jenner said that printing such a photo was “mean” regardless of whether Bruce was transitioning or not, but so far, she’s yet to say if she’s planning legal action against the mag.
