Gaming systems need awesome peripherals, and SteelSeries had just introduced a headset made just for them.

Of course, awesomeness is subjective. Mostly. So I’ll let potential buyers decide on their own if the Siberia Elite fits the bill.

I'll just list the specs. First off, there's Dolby Headphones (converts multichannel sound from movies/whatever into 7.1-channel surround quality). The Dolby Prologic Iix processor makes it happen.

Secondly, SteelSeries implemented a memory-foam padded headband, large earcups with customizable light rings (16.8 million brilliant colors in a variety of pulsating options) and intuitive volume and microphone dials.

Then, there's the Sound Share port on the right earcup (lets another player to listen in) and the flat, rubber cord that always remains tangle-free.

Add to that the SteelSeries Engine 3 enhanced software suite and all the bases are covered: game-specific audio profiles, 10-band equalizer, microphone settings, etc.

SteelSeries Siberia Elite Headset has a price of $199.99 / €199.99.
