For those who want sound close to their ears, SteelSeries has launched a new Siberia V2 headset, one that costs $119.99 / 98.07 Euro.

The white newcomer is called Siberia V2 Frost Blue Edition, due to the color of its 16-LED illumination (8 LEDs on each ear cup).

The headset connects to a PC via a 3-meter USB 2.0 and gets all the energy it needs from there, enough for the LEDs, two 50mm drivers (with 18 Hz to 28 kHz frequency response) and a microphone (retracts into the left ear cup and possesses a frequency response of 50 Hz to 16 kHz).

For those interested in such things, the impedance is of 40 Ohms.

Finally, as a special perk, the SteelSeries Engine software can be used to select between multiple LED illumination modes or configure the USB DAC driving the headset.
