Steadily but surely World of Warcraft: Cataclysm is nearing its release date so more and more gaming peripherals inspired by Blizzard's game start to pop up all over the place, SteelSeries just announcing they are expanding they Cataclysm licensed peripherals series with a new Shift keyboard and keyset as well as three new mouse pads.

This news comes right after SteelSeries has announced the Cataclysm MMO Gaming Mouse, the company releasing these new products during the BlizzCon 2010 convention.

The expanded peripheral line-up now includes a custom Shift keyboard, a new keyset and three mouse pads, the SteelSeries Shift: Cataclysm bundle coming with an ergonomic USB Shift keyboard as well as a keyset specifically designed for Blizzard's latest WoW title.

As all the Shift keyboard before it, this also comes with 8 programmable hotkeys, on-the-fly macro recording, multiple media controls, two USB 2.0 ports, all command keys being labeled and color coded, this also featuring special Cataclysm artwork to cater to those hardcore WoW fans.

For those of you that already own a Shift keyboard, the keyset is also available on its own, SteelSeries adding new functionality to it in order to reflect Cataclysm's special features (like “Exit Vehicle”, “Raid Browser” and “Set Focus”) as well as the ability to mark targets for added group and raid functionality and extended raid functionality to better manage raid groups as well as easily find a raid group to join.

Finally, WoW fans also get three new mouse pad models, showing Deathwing the Destroyer and the new worgen and goblin races.

All these pads are built using a high quality cloth material and an optimized textured surface together with a non-slip rubber base that prevents the pads from sliding g no matter what they are placed on.

Unfortunately, pricing has yet been set, but all these WoW Cataclysm licensed peripherals will be available in December, together with Blizzards' game.
