14 DAY TRIAL // SteelSeries has rolled out the 3.2.8 version of the Engine 3 driver and utility package that adds support for the newest addition to its mouse lineup, namely the Heroes of the Storm product announced last month at GamesCom, in Cologne, Germany.
When it comes to changes, this fresh package also resolves an installation issue encountered when trying to apply the SteelSeries Engine 3 for the first time.
As for the supported operating systems, the producer has provided two downloadable packages, one compatible with Mac OS X configurations, and the other targeted at both 32- and 64-bit variants of Microsoft’s Windows XP, Vista, 7, 8, and 8.1 platforms.
In addition to that, the new 3.2.8 version can also be used along with most of SteelSeries’ mice and headset devices, such as the Siberia Elite WoW or The Sims 4 gaming headsets, as well as the Kinzu v3, Rival Dota 2, or WoW Wireless MMO gaming mice.
However, in order to apply the latest release, save the appropriate package for your system configuration, make sure your device model is supported by the 3.2.8 version and is connected to the computer, and follow the on-screen instructions for a complete and successful installation.
Moreover, if not requested by the wizard, it would be best if you performed a manual reboot to ensure all changes take effect properly.
