Even though there is still some time left until Blizzard releases the Diablo III RPG, SteelSeries has already announced a range of Diablo branded peripherals that support the look and feel of the third installment of Blizzard's title.

SteelSeries' new peripherals range includes, the Diablo III Mouse, a Diablo III Headset, and two Diablo III QcK mousepads - Witch Doctor and Barbarian Editions.

Starting with the mouse, SteelSeries says this features a laser sensor with up to 5,000CPI precision, 7 ergonomically positioned buttons, with a guaranteed lifespan of 10 million clicks, as well as a so-called “demon red” illumination.

Users can partially configure this to suit their needs as the logo illumination can be completely turned off or customized to pulsate in one of the 3 different levels available.

Moving to the headset, this has a lightweight, over-the-head suspension design, and packs 50mm drivers as well as the same “demon red” illumination.

Just as it was the case with the mouse, this can also be turned off or customized to pulsate in three different modes.

The headset also includes SteelSeries’ specific, uni-directional retractable microphone-system and in-line volume and mute controls.

Finally, the mouse pad has a non-slip rubber base and is available both in a Witch Doctor and a Barbarian edition.

“The mouse offers both simplicity for new players and unprecedented durability that will support the series' distinctive mouse-driven gameplay, while the headset optimizes the high, spine-chilling snarls of otherworldly creatures and the booming lows of a barbarian battle cry,” said Kim Rom, SteelSeries CMO.

“Together, the headset and mouse will help immerse players into the game through their extended comfort, compelling designs and high performance,” concluded the company's rep.

The SteelSeries Diablo III family of products will be available when the game is officially launched and the special edition mouse will be priced at $69.99, while the headset and the mousepad will retail for $119.99 and $14.99, respectively.
