Steel Storm: Burning Retribution, a game developed by Kot-in-Action Creative Artel, with the help of the DarkPlaces engine, is now available on Steam for Linux.

Steel Storm: Burning Retribution is a top down action shooter that made its first appearance on the Linux platform in Humble Bundle 3, back in August, 2011.

Since then, the Linux version has been made available on a number of other channels, including Desura. It would have been foolish to believe that the developers wouldn’t want to also be on Steam for Linux.

The good news is that if you already own the game on the other Steam platforms, Windows or Mac OS, you will be able to play it freely, without the need to buy it again, when Valve's Steam for Linux makes its debut.

The information was made available by one of the developers from the studio, on a gaming forum. More details about the game can be found on the official Steam website.
