The sixth set of games that passed through the Steam Greenlight process, that are going to be released on Steam, contains 12 games confirmed for the Linux platform.

The rate of adoption of Steam for Linux has been very high, and a lot of developers have decided to make their game for multiple platforms, including Linux.

From a total of 20 entries, 18 games and 2 applications, 12 are titles that have or will have a Linux version on Steam: Battle Worlds: Kronos, City of Steam, Cradle, Death Inc., Dreamfall Chapters, Elsword, Hammerwatch, Legend of Dungeon, Planet Explorers, Rush Bros., and Shovel Knight.

Some of the remaining games might receive Linux support in the future, but all bets are off. Also, keep I mind that if a game gets past the Greenlight process, it doesn’t mean that it’s also launched.

The complete Steam announcement can be found on the official website.
