The Steam summer sale is in full swing

The Steam Monster Summer Sale Day 5 is here, and more Linux games have been discounted. Each new day of sales has brought us more Linux titles for our collections, and the same can be said about the current offering.

It was difficult to pinpoint the Linux games in the Summer Sale for 2014, but in 2015, almost all of the games that you can buy have Linux support, and that's a very good indication about the current direction of the platform. The fact that you can't turn your head left or right without spotting a Linux game shows that Valve is very serious about this operating system, and it's clear that it's baking its future on it.

The latest summer sale promoted by Valve on Steam will end in just a few days, but the promotions are changed every 48 hours. This means that users can choose from a new batch of titles each day, not to mention the fact that hundreds of others are available for the entire duration of the sale.

The huge sale on Steam is hurting our wallets

"The Steam Monster Summer Sale is here! For eight more days, take advantage of huge savings throughout our store on thousands of games. Check back every 12 hours to see new Daily Deals. You can even help unlock additional discounts by playing our Monster Summer Game. More than four hundred products will be featured as Daily Deals throughout the sale, with new deals popping up every 12 hours," reads the official announcement.

The games with Linux support included in today's deals are BioShock Infinite, Garry's Mod, Shadowrun Returns, Shadowrun: Dragonfall, Shadowrun: Hong Kong, The Long Dark, Project Zomboid, Divinity: Original Sin, and Crusader Kings II with all the DLCs.

The promotion for all of these titles will end in a little over 24 hours, so users will have plenty of time to decide what to buy. Enjoy!
