This weekend on Steam is dedicated to war, at least judging by the array of deals the popular digital distribution service is offering to its users, as Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3’s multiplayer is now completely free-to-play until Monday, while the Total War series has seen some serious discounts.

Steam is the most popular digital distribution service in the world largely because it’s always willing to run many deals in order to benefit its millions of users.

This weekend is quite special, however, as Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 has been discounted by 50% and, in order to give fans a taste of its online mode, the multiplayer is completely free-to-play until Monday, October 1.

What’s more, the Total War series has also been discounted by 25% until October 1 and each day will see the price of a game from the strategy franchise lowered to even smaller amounts. Right now, the original Rome: Total War Gold Edition is just $1/€1.

You can take advantage of all these deals until October 1.
