The Christmas day brought in another set of discounts on various games in Valve’s Steam Holiday Sale, which runs through January 2, 2015.

The highlights of today’s Featured Deals are some triple A titles that may or may not deliver on their promise, so thread carefully and pick your purchase wisely.

One game that you should definitely miss and the game of the year for many gaming publications is Middle-earth: Shadow of Mordor. If you love action RPGs Monolith’s masterpiece will definitely offer dozens of hours of pure entertainment.

For strategy fans, Anno 2070 could be a nice pick for the next less than 48 hours. The game is now available for just €7.49 ($8.49), which is a 75% discount over the original price.

Valve’s Counter-Strike: Global Offensive is another must buy for those addicted to competitive online FPS games. The game can be had for just €5.49 ($6.49), so if you want to get it cheaper, you will have to wait for it to be listed as Flash Deal or Community’s Choice.

Next in line is another gem that many PC gamers might have missed. Brothers – A Tale of Two Sons is a platformer co-op game developed by Starbreeze Studios. It’s worth every penny especially considering it’s been discounted by 90%, which puts its price tag at only €1.49 ($1.99).

Thief, another triple A title, has a 75% discount, so fans of the series who haven’t been able to get the latest installment in the franchise due to the high price may now purchase it for only €7.49 ($8.99).

Last but not least, the Early Access Game, which is in fact in beta, Kerbal: Space Program has a 40% discount, so PC gamers can have it for €16.79 ($20.49).
