Valve continues its policy of faster approval and smaller batches of games for its Greenlight Steam service and announces that eight titles have been approved alongside three new pieces of software.

The company says that votes are still the most important element in the decision process, but that “press reviews, crowd-funding successes, performance on other similar platforms, and awards and contests” also offer important info about the games that are seeking a Steam release.

The games that have been approved are:

Cognition: An Erica Reed Thriller Day One : Garry's Incident Super Motherload Guncraft Vector Homesick In Verbis Virtus Verdun

Gamers will also be able to get access to three new pieces of software:

Actual Multiple Monitors FL Studio Leadwerks 3: Steam Edition

Each development team will decide when each of the Greenlit titles will actually be launched.
