The development team at Valve says that more than its Steam Greenlight service has been used more than 2 million times since it was first introduced in August 2012, with three full bathes of titles approved so far.

During a discussion between Valve and developers who are looking to use Greenlight, cited by GamesIndustry.biz, the company revealed that it was aiming to make it easier to use the service and that it will try to make the API available before approval.

Chet Faliszek says that Valve will approve smaller bathes of games at a faster pace in order to make the Greenlight service more efficient.

At the moment there are technical limits to the number of video games that can be approved but the company is aiming to remove them in the near future.
