Steam users can enjoy two promotions this weekend on Valve's digital distribution service, starting with big discounts for all sorts of Batman games, including last year's Arkham Origins as well as a Square Enix Publisher sale, which focuses on different franchises each day and starts with Deus Ex.

Valve's Steam has gone through quite a few different outages in recent days and, even if the company still hasn't shared any details about the problems experienced by the digital distribution network, it seems that it wants to make it up to customers via some big discounts.

This weekend, users can enjoy two big sales, starting with a Batman one in which Batman: Arkham Asylum, City, and Origins, not to mention Lego Batman and Lego Batman 2 DC Super Heroes, have big, 75% discounts. The various DLC packs are also included in the deals.

For those who don't like Batman or who already have the aforementioned games, Valve and Square Enix are running a publisher weekend deal in which different franchises owned by the Japanese company will get bigger or smaller price cuts. The first day focuses on the Deus Ex titles, so now's your chance to get up to speed with the cyberpunk RPGs.
