The team at Valve announces that it is delivering a new beta update for the Steam client, which is designed to eliminate three problems that have been reported by the user community since the last full version of the service was offered.

The full change list includes:

General

Fixed in-game overlay for users running on 32-bit Windows Fixed game server favorites and history not displaying for some users

In-Home Streaming Beta

Fixed a crash that could occur when a streamed game switched resolutions

Valve is constantly working to make sure that it eliminates all the problems that the community is flagging for Steam in order to make sure that user numbers do not drop in the long term.

Digital distribution is already huge for the PC market and both Sony and Microsoft are aiming to promote the technology for the Xbox One and the PlayStation 4.
