14 DAY TRIAL // Valve has pushed another Beta build out the door for its Steam client, featuring some interesting changes.
This is not a large update, as can be easily observed from the changelog, but most of these changes and features will end up in the stable Steam release. Highlights of the latest Steam for Linux client Beta update:
• Family Sharing has been disabled in Offline mode; • The game server IPs in the favorites list will now automatically update, but only if the server is using a persistent account; • The files have been reorganized, which should make the client small in future updates; • The steam-runtime for the Linux platform has been updated; • A crash that could occur when a streamed game switched resolutions has been fixed.

Keep in mind that this is a Beta version and you might experience some problems with it. In order to get it, you have to enroll in the Beta program, from Preferences.
