Valve has finally kicked off the Steam Autumn Sale 2012, implementing a wide array of discounts and price cuts on all sorts of popular games.

Steam is the biggest digital distribution services out there, with tens of millions of users across the PC, PS3, and even Linux platforms.

Much of the service's popularity is owed to the variety of sales made by Valve every single day.

Now, in honor of Autumn, Thanksgiving and Black Friday, the service has kicked off its traditional sale and has slashed prices on all sorts of popular games.

During this first day, titles like XCOM: Enemy Unknown, Darksiders 2, or Age of Empires 3 have all received price cuts. Besides these daily deals, flash discounts are also present on games like Limbo, Payday: The Heist, or The Amazing Spider-Man.

The Steam Autumn Sale 2012 will last until November 26 so expect new discounts to be made available every day until then.
