Steam Announces Encore Holiday Sale from Saturday to Monday

Valve says that it will run an Encore Weekend for the winter Steam Holiday Sale starting with Saturday, the 5th until Monday, the 7th, with a select number of titles set to get the same big reductions that they enjoyed during the past two weeks.

The new initiative will give all those who have missed their favorite titles to get them for a lower price.

Valve is not yet offering the names of those titles which will be part of the Encore Weekend sale and gamers will have to keep their eye on Steam in order to see whether the video games they are interested in are included.

Steam is well known for its extensive sales, which other digital distribution services have started copying in the last few years, and the Encore Weekend is yet another change for Valve to flex its commercial muscles.
