The market for small-sized computer systems is continuing to grow at a fast pace, with a number of new computer system vendors introducing their own designs. While most products of this form factor are based on Intel's already famous Atom processor platform, there are some few ones that boast a different processor configuration. The new LPC-625F one from Stealth PC comes to provide a change, by featuring a higher-performance Intel Core 2 Duo processor, inside a fanless mini PC design.

“The Stealth Model: LPC-625F is the most powerful fanless computer we have ever offered. This full featured machine utilizes the latest Intel core 2 duo processor technology and we believe it offers the most processing power per square inch of any embedded fanless machine available today.” Ed Boutilier, president & CEO of Stealth.com Inc, stated.

According to the technical specifications of the Stealth mini PC, the system is powered by Intel's Penryn Core 2 Duo P8400 processor clocked at 2.26GHz. There's also a choice for a higher performance P9500 2.53GHz CPU. The system is based on the GM45 and ICH9M chipset combo, offering support for up to 4GB of DDR2 memory.

Thanks to the integration of the GM45 chipset, the mini PC from Stealth is powered by the GMA X4500 graphics processing unit, offering an integrated HDMI port and support for full 1080p video. The system is offered with a 2.5-inch 80GB SATA hard drive, but there's also an option for a 120 to 500GB hard drive, or a higher-performance SSD.

As far as connectivity goes, the product comes with 8 USB ports placed at the back and front panel, e-SATA, Gigabit Ethernet, optional 802.11 WiFi antena, audio and Kensington lock. The LPC-625F is said to weigh approximately 3.2kg, which can differ depending on configuration.

Unfortunately, the company didn't release any details on the pricing and availability of its new Core 2 Duo-powered system.
