Tails 0.22, a live system that aims to preserve your privacy and that helps you use the Internet anonymously, has been officially released and is available for download.

The developers of Tails have issued a request to the community to download and test the version and to provide feedback. Highlights of Tails 0.22:

• Iceweasel has been updated to version 24.2.0esr that fixes a few serious security issues; • Incremental upgrades are ready for beta-testing; • Vidalia startup has been fixed; • Do not fail USB upgrade when the "tmp" directory exists on the destination device; • A clearer warning is now provided when deleting the persistent volume; • IBus is now always used instead of SCIM; • I2P has been upgraded to version 0.9.8.1 and its configurations has been reworked.
