One of the most useful Windows Phone 8 applications, Status Tiles, has just received a major improvement that will increase the install database even further.

Developed by Garvit Gupta, Status Tiles allows users to pin the toggles for connectivity settings to the Start. The application also indicates the current status via live tiles.

Users can pin tiles for various settings, including: Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, Location, Data Connection, Screen Rotation, Flashlight, Music Stop, Battery Saver and more.

Keep in mind that the pinned tiles show the live status of the settings, while the Battery Tile is updated automatically to show the live Battery Percentage.

It doesn’t come for free, but users won’t be bothered by ads either. The latest update makes Status Title fully compatible with Microsoft’s new Windows Phone 8.1 operating system.

In addition, it brings support for enhanced transparent tiles and faster background tile updates. Obviously, the application has also received a fair share of bug fixes and under the hood improvements, which are meant to enhance user overall experience.

You can now download Status Tiles for Windows Phone for $0.99 via Windows Phone Store. The application should be fully compatible with all devices powered by Windows Phone 8 and up.
