Starters Orders 3 Brings Horse Racing to Your PC

- Train, bet, race and ride your horse to victory

By: Calin Ciabai, Games Editor

Are you one of these people that love the thrill of a horse race? Would you like to bet fortunes on your favorite horse and see it win, feel the adrenaline pumping
and they joy of a last second win – and, most important, everything without the slightest risk of losing a single penny? If you do or, at least, if you like horses and nothing more, Starters Orders 3 might prove to be a nice way of spending your free time.

Considered one of the most realistic horse racing management games, SO3 brings you some of the most famous racing seasons spanning the UK, US and Australia. And, for the first time ever, the game will feature the National Hunt and Hurdle races in its UK calendar, together with the well known marathon Aintree Grand Nation or the Cheltenham Gold Cup. Even more, if you don't consider this management part too exciting, you can always hop on a horse yourself and really be the only one in charge. It's up to you to decide how it is best to play the game.

As I said in the beginning, you can bet on you races and horses – so get ready for some intense action. And it won't be too easy for you to predict, since the tactical accuracy is brought to a new level: realistic jumping, blocking and jockey animations – they're all present in Starters Orders 3. And this is not the only realistic part of the game – you have up to 5 years of horse history available for you, as well as a really accurate and detailed game world.

Just like any management game, only you getting bored of the game will actually make this game end – otherwise, you can play hundreds of seasons and try to find the next "superstar", since every season comes with new 2 years old horses for you to choose from, as well as old horses retiring. And, for the ultimate joy, you can export your horses to online leagues and compete against other players. You simply couldn't wish for more.
