StartW8 is currently one of the top apps supposed to bring back the traditional Start button in Windows 8, as it has already recorded millions of downloads after the launch of Microsoft’s new OS.

The new version comes with options to ignore both right and left hot corners, as well as with 7 new translations, namely Danish, Finnish, Japanese, Lithuanian, Slovenian, Swedish, and Turkish.

In addition, the application is now capable of automatically checking for updates, while the list of recent items is filled immediately after installation.

While StartW8 clearly comes in as a very interesting app, word is that Microsoft could actually make all these third-party Start Menu apps pointless by launching its very own Start button in Windows 8.1
