More and more Start button apps are getting Windows 8.1 Preview, so today it’s StartisBack’s turn to arrive on Microsoft’s latest OS update.
As I reported to you this morning, the current Windows 8.1-compatible version of StartIsBack is still in alpha stage, so it could be highly unstable and crash all of a sudden.
As you can see in these photos, on the other hand, the app looks quite okay and seems to provide exactly the options you would need, including a simple shortcut to launch the Start screen.
At the same time, it also provides plenty of configuration options, such as various design styles, as well as settings to disable the built-in Start button or to configure the built-in power options.
