StartIsBack remains one of the top apps that can bring back the Start Menu on Windows 8.1, so updates are essential for quite a lot of users out there.

A new version released today for Windows 8.1 comes with several improvements, so all those running it right now are recommended to deploy it as soon as possible.

According to the official release notes, StartIsBack 1.5.2 for Windows 8.1 comes with updated translations, while flyout menus are now using menu fonts. Additionally, the Start Menu selection now looks better on high DPI configurations, the developing team said.

This particular version was exclusively designed for Windows 8.1, so you can only download StartIsBack 1.5.2 if you’ve already made the move to Microsoft’s new OS version. Otherwise, just stick to the old version that offers support for Windows 8.
