14 DAY TRIAL // Stardock’s Start8 application is now available as a freeware license as part of a special app bundle that gives Windows 8 and Windows 8.1 users the chance to turn their modern operating systems into more familiar working environments.
Start8 can be downloaded for free if you purchase ModernMix, a separate app that lets you run multiple Modern apps in their own windows on the desktop.
The whole package is available for only $4.99 (€3.70), while Start8 is usually offered separately with the same price tag. A trial version of the Start Menu app can also be downloaded and used for a maximum of 30 days.
