Start Menu 8 is clearly one of the top apps that can help users bring back the familiar Start Menu on their Windows 8 and Windows 8.1 computers, so it’s no surprise that the parent company is trying to release new builds on a regular basis.

Today, IObit officially released Start Menu 8 1.4, an improved version that comprises several new options, as well as better Windows 8.1 support.

For example, the new release comes with a Windows 8 style for the Start Menu, while also adding options for displaying or not (depending on users’ preferences) the account pictures and the frequently used programs.

At the same time, it enhances the search function, optimizes the user interface and brings better support for Windows 8.1, which means that you can now download Start Menu 8 1.4 especially if you’ve already made the move to the new Microsoft operating system.
