Start Menu 8 is currently one of the top choices when it comes to apps that could bring back the Start button on Windows 8, so it’s now installed on plenty of computers out there.

Version 1.2 was officially released a few minutes ago and brings full support for Windows 8.1, which means that you shouldn’t experience any bugs when running the app on Microsoft’s latest OS update.

In addition, the new build comes with improved UI for easier understanding, while also bringing font settings and a new option to distinguish newly-installed programs.

Last but not least, the app now makes it possible to sort items in the Start Menu by simply dragging them and offers settings to change the default size of the Start button displayed on either Windows 8 or Windows 8.1.
