It’s no secret that Windows 8 is a controversial product and, since people are trying to stay away from it, sales of devices equipped with Microsoft’s new operating system are stagnating.

Lenovo has apparently found the easiest way to deal with the anti-Windows 8 craze. According to a report by The Channel, all PCs aimed at enterprises are downgraded to Windows 7 by default, while Windows 8 is offered on a separate disc for those who want to deploy it.

In addition, in case you choose Windows 8, Lenovo is offering a Start button as well, as part of its Lenovo software bundle, so you can easily deal with the shortcomings of the new operating system.

As far as sales go, it’s not yet clear whether all these changes are attracting more buyers or not, but until Blue comes out, it’s basically the easiest way to make sure that sales don’t go down.
