Start Applications Right After a Call

The easiest way to cut out the time you lose when you want to add a new phone number or edit an existing one is to simply avoid browsing the phone's menu for these features. SymbianGuru offers users a solution for the above problems in the form of an application – AfterCall. The application enables you to send SMS, MMS, Email messages, to add the new number in the contact list or edit an existing one, right after you end a call. Furthermore, you will be also able to make a note, set a calendar meeting or a task, automatically, as soon as the call ends.

AfterCall is fully compatible with Symbian S60 3rd Edition handsets and can be easily installed via Bluetooth, IrDA or Cable. The application can be set to start automatically after each startup of the phone. Before beginning to use the application, AfterCall will synchronize data with call log data, in case you have any.

If you get the "No Data" message on the screen, you should wait till you receive or make some calls, so you can synchronize data. After you receive a call, you will be able to use the Info option, which will show you detailed pieces of information about that call: the number of the phone and type of the call (missed, outgoing, incoming, busy or rejected), the number of the phone and call duration, the date and time of the call. You will also be able to perform some actions such as: call number, send SMS/MMS message, add contact, new event or delete number.


AfterCall can be set to display a certain number of phone calls on the main screen. The minimum number of phone calls that you can display is five, while the maximum is 100, even if your phone doesn't have such a high-capacity call log. The full-featured trial version of AfterCall can be used for ten days, after which the program will require registration. The full version of the application can be bought for $9.99.
