Video game developer Blizzard is launching a new set of video previews for the upcoming Starcraft 2: Heart of the Swarm, designed to show off the various new features of the strategy game.

The first of the trailers sees Kevin Johnson, also known as Cloaken, talking about the way the game mechanics are used to “strengthen and support the community, relationships, and communication between players.”

The new game is designed to focus on Sarah Kerrigan, who has regained human form at the end of Wings of Liberty, and on the Zerg, with new units added to the single player and the multiplayer modes.

The game will also serve as a platform for Blizzard All-Stars, which might be launched later during 2013.

Starcraft 2: Heart of the Swarm will be launched on the PC via retail and Battle.net on March 12.
