Perfect for when someone needs to connect a computer to two networks at once

Various motherboards, especially recent ones, have two LAN ports, but for those who don't, StarTech has invented the ST1000SPEXD2 Low Profile Dual Port PCIe Gigabit Ethernet Network Card.

This is useful for when a host system needs to be linked to two networks at the same time.

The low-profile form factor makes sure it fits into both servers and regular desktop, while the performance up to ten times that of 10/100 Ethernet ensures it can deliver on expectations.

The IEEE 802.3/u/ab standards are fully supported, as are Crossover Detection & Auto-Correction (Auto MDIX).

All in all, the item should prove a great addition to anyone needing something of the sort, assuming they have the £133.99 to buy it (it sells in the UK only, for now). That's $210 / 161 Euro.
