Your typical game update usually includes some balance tweaks, bug fixes and boring numbers. Not so with StarCraft II's latest 2.1 update; Blizzard decided to offer their players the complete soundtrack to the classic StarCraft and Brood War games.

“Players around the world have been constructing additional Pylons to the music of StarCraft and StarCraft: Brood War for over fifteen years now, and we've heard your feedback that the soundtracks from these titles would make great additions to StarCraft II.

“We've re-mastered the classic StarCraft and Brood War soundtracks and will be making them available for play in StarCraft II with the release of Patch 2.1,” the official blue post informed.

Players will be able to navigate to the Sound tab of the Options menu, and under the Soundtrack drop-down menu choose between the StarCraft II, StarCraft/Brood War or All options for which soundtrack to hear during their games.
