After celebrating the 15-year anniversary of its StarCraft franchise, Blizzard has revealed that the oft-rumored StarCraft Ghost, a game that wasn't going to be a strategy experience, might still be released.

StarCraft 2: Heart of the Swarm appeared last month and Blizzard is already working hard on the Legacy of the Void expansion, which is set to appear in the future.

Besides these strategy titles, Blizzard worked at some point on StarCraft Ghost, an action adventure shooter that focused on a Terran Ghost character called Nova.

Now, Blizzard's Matthew Burger talked with OPM about StarCraft Ghost and revealed that it was currently on hold.

When asked by the magazine if the project could see the light of day, Burger replied with an enigmatic "maybe."

As of right now, Blizzard's internal teams are working on a variety of other projects, like Hearthstone: Heroes of Warcraft, as well as the ongoing unannounced MMO codenamed Titan.
