World of StarCraft to be unveiled on May 19 at Blizzard's South Korean Event

What did I tell you? Blizzard's making a MMO out of StarCraft. Why couldn't they just say it from the beginning, when they made the shocking announcement of a 3D next-gen game being in the scope? So-called reliable sources for different gaming sites started rumoring of a StarCraft 2 being in the works as a MMO too, but Blizzard soon dismissed such news. Now, CVG finally reveals what Blizzard has prepared for their fans: StarCraft in 3D as a MMO or "World of StarCraft," as VoodooExtreme likes to joke.

GVG says: "Well placed US sources have revealed to us that the StarCraft MMO will be unveiled at an upcoming Blizzard event on May 19 in South Korea - the epicentre of the sci-fi RTS series' rabid fandom."

Oh, so again, it's not exactly official, but more word from "well placed sources" again. When will this stop? MMO fans out there are tearing the living flesh off their skulls, when reading about a MMO StarCraft 2. Some don't even see it as a MMO and would rather have another RTS StarCraft, which makes perfect sense really, as World of Warcraft is good to go for another two years at least and just with the Burning Crusade expansion pack.

So, don't kill me for getting your hopes up again, it's what I read and now you know it too. As for the way I presented the issue in the first paragraph... um, I was reading and doing the article at the same time.
