Blizzard has officially confirmed that it will once again be present this August at Gamesom 2012 and that it's going to bring an array of titles with it, from the already-launched Diablo 3 to upcoming games like StarCraft 2: Heart of the Swarm or World of Warcraft: Mists of Pandaria.

Quite a lot of Blizzard fans were upset to hear that this year's BlizzCon event won't be held. Fortunately for its European community, Blizzard has confirmed that it will be present at Gamescom 2012 in August.

The studio is set to bring a variety of upcoming games to the large convention, from World of Warcraft's Mists of Pandaria expansion, which will see its opening cinematic debut at the event, to StarCraft 2: Heart of the Swarm and even Diablo 3.

Besides letting visitors try out the games, Blizzard is also bringing back the live band that plays music from its titles and will organize professional tournaments.

Gamescom 2012 starts on August 16 and lasts until August 19.
