The development team at BioWare working on Star Wars: The Old Republic is getting ready to introduce a new set of customization options for the MMO, which will be concentrated in a new set of booths that will appear in May.

Cory Butler, a producer working on The Old Republic, tells fans that the customization will be extensive, allowing them to change all aspects of their character’s look, including the race and the color of the various armor sets being used.

BioWare is also launching Eradicator’s Warsuit and Vice Commandant’s Contraband pack, complete with pets, vehicles and gear, via the official store of The Old Republic.

In the coming 2.1 update for the Star Wars MMO, players will also get access to a new playable race, the Cathar, with a new set of skills and abilities.
