Video game developer BioWare has announced that it is now offering a Gannifari pet and 25 Black Hole Commendations for all those who are willing to take advantage of the new free character transfer service and move to a more populated server.
The new pet, pictured alongside the article, might be cute enough but the real attractive bonus are the 25 Black Hole Commendations, which can be used to buy pieces of equipment for high-level characters.
BioWare says that “hundreds of thousands of players have already taken advantage” of the free server character transfer.
Star Wars: The Old Republic has big plans for this year, introducing a new planet with a number of associated dungeons and quests and also creating a quest chain that allows gamers to get access to a HK-51 droid companion.
BioWare also insists that the MMO is not leaking subscribers and that it can sustain the current level of activity in the long term.
