BioWare has officially confirmed that it's going to debut the free-to-play version of Star Wars: The Old Republic, its recent MMORPG, on November 15.

Star Wars: The Old Republic was supposed to usher in a new era for online role-playing games, but it ended up a lackluster experience that didn't really convince players to continue paying their monthly subscriptions.

As such, EA and BioWare revealed earlier this year that the MMO is going to become a free-to-play experience.

Now, the two companies have confirmed that the new version of The Old Republic will debut on November 15 across all territories where the MMO is available.

Existing subscribers will be granted all of the Complimentary Cartel Coins that are listed on this page plus 250 bonus ones.

Those who already had subscribers and choose to reactivate them will also get a bonus sum of virtual coins, which will now act as currency.
