As promised a short while ago, a second trailer for Disney’s “Star Wars: The Force Awakens” premiered yesterday at the Star Wars Convention, and it was released online some hours later. It is available for your viewing pleasure in full and in HD below.

Unlike the first footage from the film, directed by J.J. Abrams, this one is dedicated to the longtime fans of the famous franchise, and as such, it’s packed with visuals and references to the previous installments.

As you can see in the second video below, it even uses old samples of Luke Skywalker’s (Mark Hamill) Force speech to Leia in “Return of the Jedi.” Another not-so-subtle wink to the fans is included right at the beginning of the trailer, through the use of music samples from the previous OSTs.

Elsewhere in the trailer, we get a better look at Kylo Ren, the hooded “mysterious” supposed villain from the first trailer wielding the crossguard Lightsaber. We also see a Chrome Trooper a couple of times.

However, perhaps the best part of the trailer comes last, with Harrison Ford’s Han Solo and Peter Meyhew’s Chewbacca stepping into the Millennium Falcon, ready to bust some proverbial butt. “Chewie, we’re home,” Solo smiles.
