Star Wars gaming fans wielding a Mac can now download Star Wars Jedi Knight: Jedi Academy from Steam for just $9.99 / €8,99. Jedi Knight: Jedi Academy is the latest installment in the Jedi Knight series of video games.
Players jump in the shoes of a new student who is eager to learn the ways of the Force from Jedi Master Luke Skywalker to fight for good and freedom on the light side.
Gamers can customize their character by defining the look and gender before entering the Academy, and they get to craft their own Lightsaber from handle to blade.
System requirements include OS X 10.7.5 (Lion), 10.8.2 (Mountain Lion), Intel Core 2 Duo (Dual-Core), 2.2 GHz, 4 GB of RAM, 256 MB VRAM (NVidia Geforce 8800 is recommended), and 2 GB of storage.
As it is generally the case with Mac games, some chipsets are unsupported by
Jedi Academy, including Intel Integrated GMA 950, Intel Integrated x3100, and ATI RADEON HD 2400.
