With Disney having already announced the release of “Star Wars Episode VII” for 2015, there must be a lot of pressure on director J.J. Abrams to start work on the project. As it turns out, the much anticipated film will begin shooting in January 2014.

Speaking at the Produced By conference over the weekend, the director, famous for how secretive he is about all of his ongoing projects, would only say that he’s already thinking about the move to London at the end of the year.

“We are, most likely, if all goes as planned, going to be moving to London at the end of the year for the Star Wars movie,” Abrams said, as cited by The Hollywood Reporter.

Word online has it that, if he’s to move to London then, he will certainly be shooting the film already in January.

As for what fans should expect, it looks like Abrams is planning a move similar to that of 2009’s “Star Trek.”

“It is so massive and so important to people. I think the key to moving forward on something like this is honoring but not revering what came before,” he said.

In other words, it will be a reboot, but one that will allow both versions of the story (the old and the new) to coexist.
