These past weeks we've been inundated with Star Wars news, some of them true, some of them pure rumors. This week has started off in a similar manner as today we have reports the latest Star Wars movie has received a new working title: “The Ancient Fear.”

The report comes from Aintitcool which claims to have heard this title being mentioned by two independent sources from within the production team at a distance of several months apart. In their eyes, this constitutes definitive proof that the rumor holds water.

The site also mentions that the source was also right on a previous occasion about the location of the shooting being in Abu Dhabi. They claim to have run the information past everyone in the J.J. Abrams camp, including the director himself, but have gotten no answer.

His silence has been taken as a confirmation of sorts, and that is why they have chosen to run the news, confident that their report was accurate. There has also been a reason given to this strange title, coming from the same source that claims “It refers to Max Von Sydow's villain who makes Pazuzu look like a [expletive]!”

So far, Abrams has kept a tight lid on his project, after last week he barely agreed to reveal the cast of the movie, much to the delight of most fans who welcomed the return of some of the original cast members, including Harrison Ford and Carrie Fisher (Han Solo and Princess Leia).
