Star Wars Episode 3: Revenge Of The Sith is an action game based on the movie with the same name. The game was published by LucasArts on the 5th of May 2005 (and a platinum hit was released on the 16th of July 2006). It was released on all major consoles of the time, including the handheld Nintendo DS.

Star Wars Episode 3: Revenge Of The Sith puts the player into the shoes of Anakin Skywalker and Obi-Wan Kenobi, and takes the gamer through a journey of 17 levels, all based on the movie (also, 12 minutes of movie footage are included in the game).

Star Wars Episode 3: Revenge Of The Sith has been generally met with average reviews, as it usually happens with games based on successful movies. However, keeping in mind that it was a Star Wars game, fans rushed to purchase it and we can call it a financial success for the developers and publishers. Not to mention the fact that it's only one of the few titles that allows you to be a Star Wars character, and that should be enough for many.
