14 DAY TRIAL // Blake Jorgensen, the chief financial officer of Electronic Arts, says that the new Star Wars: Battlefront title will be launched during the summer of 2015 as long as the development process goes according to plan.
CVG quotes the executive as telling investors that the title "will most likely come out around the same time as the Star Wars movies start to come out, probably in the summer of '15."
It's unclear whether the story of the new movie will be in any way linked to that of the new Battlefront game.
No details on the core mechanics of the game have been revealed so far by developer DICE, which is using a veteran team to create the new Star Wars experience.
Star Wars games are also in development at BioWare and Visceral Games and EA has an exclusive deal with Disney for the coming years.
