14 DAY TRIAL // THQ Wireless, just announced that its two new iPhone games, Star Wars Trench Run 2.0 and Star Wars: Vader Yourself are now available for download on iTunes. The second version of the game, Star Wars: Trench Run 2.0 takes advantage of a new technology called Brass Monkey, and developer by Infrared5. Star Wars: Vader Yourself enables players to transform their own voice into that of the infamous Darth Vader.
Thanks to the new technology embedded into Star Wars: Trench Run 2.0, players can now play the game full-screen in the computer's web browser.
Internet-enabled TVs, large displays or even computers connected to a TV via HDMI, offer a great visual experience. Players will be able to use their iPhone or iPod Touch as wireless game controllers, while playing on one of the above mentioned platforms.
Besides the new Brass Monkey technology, the web version update also includes new explosions, updated graphics, new 3D cockpits, and three new lighting features.
The story of the game evolves around the fight for saving the small Rebel base on Yavin's jungle moon.
Players will have to use the Force to destroy the Death Star before it can fire upon the Rebel camp.
Start the dogfight with TIE fighters above the Death Star's surface, dodge obstacles and laser-fires as you maneuver into position to target a small thermal exhaust port, which can cause a chain reaction that will destroy the Death Star.
Star Wars: Vader Yourself enables users to speak into their iPod or iPod Touch. The controls of the application will help users adjuste settings for Pitch, Speed, and Tempo.
A wide range of Vader breathing sounds can be added to the recordings, as well as naming, renaming, and saving recorded files for use at any time in the future is possible.
All Vader voice creations can be shared with others using the Share function to send the files via email. Users can also connect the application directly to Facebook to show off the creations to Facebook friends.
