Video game developer BioWare has already revealed that it is introducing same-gender relationship to its MMO Star Wars: The Old Republic via the new Rise of the Hutt Cartel expansion, but it seems that only a limited number of players will be able to get access to it.

The Makeb planet, the only place in the game where the new storylines will be available, can only be accessed by those players who are high level and are willing to give BioWare real-world money, according to PCGamesN.

BioWare has not yet explained whether the Makeb content will only be available for those who pay a monthly subscription or whether the content can be accessed for a onetime fee.

The Rise of the Hutt Cartel for Star Wars: The Old Republic will be launched in late spring with new quests and new character options.
