The popular star-gazing app from Vito Technology, Star Walk, has received a maintenance update this week which fixes the wrong positions of some stars, and addresses a few other problems too.

The winner of Apple Design Award 2010, and featured by Apple as Best Apps of 2009, 2010 and in iPad TV commercials, “Star Walk for iPad - interactive astronomy guide” has reaches version 5.7.2.

It’s a bug-squashing update that addresses time shift in SkyLive, fixes the wrong positions of stars from the HIP catalog, addresses crashes on zoom and orientation in Community during message window closing, and improves search on Server with non-latin letters. Other minor bug fixes are also included, but not documented.
