14 DAY TRIAL // The development team at Digital Extremes and publisher Namco Bandai are launching another trailer for their upcoming Star Trek video game, which shows William Shatner, the first Captain Kirk, dealing with the Gorn, the main antagonists of the new experience.
The official description states, “More than four decades after they first squared off on an isolated desert planet, William Shatner comes face-to-face again with the menacing Gorn species of Star Trek fame.”
The trailer is designed to attract the attention of fans of the series and the role of Captain Kirk in the video game will be played by Chris Pine, the actor from the series’ reboot.
The story of the new video game is designed to be independent from that of the coming Into Darkness movie.
The Star Trek video game will be launched on the PC and on home console on April 23 in North America and three days later in Europe.
