14 DAY TRIAL // The teams at developer Digital Extremes and publisher Namco Bandai are releasing a launch trailer for their Star Trek: The Video Game, designed to distill the experience in order to draw in as many players as possible.
The game will be focused on cooperative play, with gamers controlling Captain Kirk and First Officer Spock and using their different abilities to overcome obstacles and fight enemies.
The antagonists of the new Star Trek video game are the Gorn, a reptile-like alien species that attacks a Vulcan colony after the latter's home planet was destroyed.
The new game will respect all the elements of the rebooted movie universe and will offer an original story that explains the relationship between Kirk and Spock and how they manage to bring the best out of each other in dangerous situations.
